How To Cleanse Your Home Of Negative Energy

Today we going to talk about different implements you can use to cleanse your home of negative energy. You can also cleanse your aura and area before you start a healing session with clients and set up a good vibe in general. Here are some tools you may or may not have heard of. Keep in mind it’s all about intention and setting the intention on what you’re trying to do with each of these tools.

Sage

Sage a very well-known way to cleanse the home of negative energy. It will literally get rid of everything, including the positive and negative stuff, so it kind of neutralizes everything. It’s super great. They can come in forms of little sticks, which are portable or massive ones that you can burn. You can cleanse your crystal, yourself, your car, etc. You light it up and let it smoke a little bit.

NOTE: Smudging with white sage has is a cultural/ritual appropriation by Native Americans. Please use other types of sage such as European or clary sage.

Palo Santo

Palo Santo is a type of wood. You burn the ends and let it smoke a little bit, like what you would do with sage. Unlike sage, it keeps the positive energy and only gets rid of negative energy!

Selenite

Using one of our favorite crystals, you can cleanse by going around and sweeping selenite in the air within your space and your aura. You can use them on a crystal grid or put them in corners of your room, to keep negative energy out and amplify positive energy.

Singing Bowls

If you want to clear a space before a healing session or do a quick little cleanse to fix the energy, you can use singing bowls (see video above on how to use them).

Smudge Spray Or Florida Water

Florida came into the world a couple of hundred years ago. It started off as a cologne, and over time it became adapted in the mystical world. You can mix Florida water with water and spray it around the room or on yourself. Florida water and smudge spray are great if you prefer a non-smoky alternative/option.
